Photography was something that fascinated me from a young age. I started off taking photos for my family, then really began to experiment more about 12 years ago while in high school. I bought myself an EOS-3 when I started college and shot with that and my trusty 50mm 1.4 for almost 10 years. I was an avid slide shooter; I couldn't get enough of the rich saturation, detail, and overall character of Velvia 50...something that I think is still missing with digital. I finally caved a year ago and bought myself a dSLR and a few lenses.
My interests have been primarily in landscape photography, but I tend to experiment quite often. I love low light/long exposure shots, street photography, and pretty much anything else. Photography to me is an art; it is not about reproducing exactly what one sees, but instead creating the image that tells the story you want to convey.
