The passion for it was so strong, after 2 visits, I chose to move here and embrace everything Luxor had to offer. 6years later, I am still here, never tiring of what this magical place has to offer....if you allow it. Every moment here is an historic one, when I look through the lens of my camera, 'I see wonderful things' that I want to share with the World. 'Love Your Life and Live Your Dreams' Helsx

Casting a shadow

The start of the 'Emsheer' (One month of strong winds) today, has brought, a strange light, a strong wind and a dramatic drop in temperature. The air was filled with sand and dust blown from the Western Desert. People wrapped up and covered their faces as they tried to breathe clean air and escape the harsh wind.

The sun still shines, but is very subdued. Colours become muted and the sun is a blur, as it tries to warm the sacred soil it touches.

The Nile seemed angry. Sailors touting for sunset felucca sailing, fell on deaf ears, as the waves lapped the shores and boats collided with each other.

Life carries on; people are protesting, most go to work, for some life just ticks over.......

This image is a shadow from todays sky.
