Winnipeg in July

Published November 24th, 2012

I traveled to Winnipeg in July to visit my father who was working on a reno job at the Mint. I was pleasantly surprised with the architecture and all the amenities the city has to offer. The Forks is an incredible spot for just about anything - running, picnics, shopping, eating, taking in the scenery, etc.

Winnipeg has its share of issues, to be sure, but it is a beautiful place and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

These bears were scattered around Winnipeg in celebration of the 75th anniversary of CancerCare Manitoba.

They now mostly live around the legislative building.
