Fred Brundick

I am a professional geek and student who owns horses to get outside and away from a computer once in a while. My formal education in photography was during my sophomore year in college when I was majoring in architecture. I took a class in B&W photography (film, of course, because this was in the days when computer mainframes roamed the Earth), although my interest in photography began when I was about 8 years old. I started in digital photography with a Nikon Coolpix 950 Millennium, moved up to a Nikon D70s dSLR, and now use a Nikon D7000.

My main interest is nature photography, "I see dead trees", but my architectural roots have led to urban photo walks. I'm being drawn into birding, even though I think that birders are a "cult". My condo faces woods and a stream, where Canada geese and white-tailed deer have posed to have their pictures taken.

Thank you for taking the time to view my work here.
