Filippo Secchi

Have been an amateur photographer for 30+ years, starting with a photography class in high school and using an Olympus OM-1. Moved to one of the first Minolta Autofocus and then quickly joined the digital revolution, buying a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ10 (4Mp, with an amazing 12X Leica optical zoom!). Photography has always been linked to travel for me, as a way to remember. Lightness and portability, a must. I travel a lot for work and I couldn't carry my Lumix in the computer bag, so I bought a Canon Ixus 70 (tiny, but great colors) and later a Canon S90 (rediscovering my previous experiences with f numbers, ISO etc...). This was the camera which made me feeling again that I wanted to give it a serious try to take some good pictures and have fun. The S90 is always in my bag, wherever I go. Finally I bought an Olympus OM-D EM-5 and everything came full circle... back to the future. I have never had so much fun taking pictures as I am having now with the OM-D... This is now my leisure travel camera (how much did I miss it last year, at the Antelope Canyon!), but it will come in selected business travels, like in Japan, in few days, when I can squeeze in at least a day of shooting. I now have the 12-50mm, the 40-150mm and the fantastic 45mm f1.8, Still a basic amateur, still learning (after so many years!), but having a lot of fun and eager to receive your comments, your suggestions and your friendship.
