I purchased my first DSLR camera in 2011 and from the moment I attached my first lens and went for a walk, I was hooked. Since then I have seen my work change so much to where it is today and I have discovered that not only do I love the taking of a photo, but also the work that comes after this during post-processing, I love to explore the possibilities that digital photography can allow.
My favourite things to photograph are landscapes, and nature, allowing me to capture the natural beauty of the world, I also love to travel and try to visit as many countries and cities as I can in the world. I am always looking to catch a scene from a unique angle; the same landscape or cityscape can be completely different depending on time of day, season or light. I can spend hours waiting for the right light or the right cloud to create a perfect vista.
Once I have a shot I am happy with, I can then allow my imagination to take over to see what can be achieved to create something that would look beautiful upon any wall or within any frame, I try and capture and create scenes that suit all moods and preferences.
This is my passion and I love to share my work with others. Artists enjoy seeing others enjoy their work, and I enjoy seeing my photographs on the wall of friends and family – I would like to be able to share my work with a wider audience. I live in England with my wife and cat, and enjoy getting out and about and exploring the beautiful countryside that my country offers, having a camera in my hand is just another reason to do just that.
