Francesca Sara Cauli
Francesca Sara Cauli was born in 1982 in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy.
She lives and works in Bologna. Taught up by her parents and her grandfather, who was a professional photographer, she was early introduced into shooting. She was surrounded by analog cameras and polaroids since she was a young child. Although she has been in pause during her high school and University, she went back to photography after buying her first digital reflex in later 2008. Inspired by candid portraiture and reportage, she studied photography language at Piccolo Formato, Bologna.
By combining her great passions for music and photography, she has now focused her working field in live music reportage and backstage portraiture.
Among her publications appears Rolling Stone Magazine, Noize, Popular Photography Magazine, Il Venerdi di Repubblica, Il Mucchio Selvaggio, Digital Camera, Repubblica Bologna.
She's also a Getty Image Contributor.
