I sometimes shoot with a black & white Canon 500D but usually with a Canon EOS 6D.
I starded photography a long time ago with a Nikon F301, but had to stop after all my equipement was stollen. Twenty years after, I went into astrophotography, a very expensive and time consuming hobby. The weather in Upper Normandy is not that good and I had only between 6 and 10 nights of clear conditions to shoot some deep sky objects, each time followed by 10 to 20 hours of post processing using complex softwares (such as PixInsight)... for a very disappointing result. I discovered astrophotography was not the ideal hobby I expected. The only positive thing : a lot of good friends in this hobby !
Some time ago, I turned 50 and my family offered me a Canon 6D. I already had a Canon 70-200 F/4L lens and re-discovered the world of "daylight" photography ! No need to wait for a clear night without moon, no need to spend hours and hours to process one single picture !
Now I'm here ;)
