Gabriel Gignone

Gabriel Gignone was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His interest in knowing the farthest reaches of South America, led him to walk ten countries at different times. From big cities to remote villages, has been repeatedly in the forest, moorland, mountains, salt flats, plains and forests. He has been in the Atlantic, Pacific and Caribbean Sea, crossed the Amazon River and the Strait of Magellan to reach the end of the world (Ushuaia) and also visited the Galapagos Islands. Shared experiences and experiences in indigenous Quichua, Aymara, Pemon wichis and African descent. Writes for twenty years and does photography for ten, based on the vast experience and visual stimuli absorbed. On his last trip, toured South America on a motorcycle covering twenty-three thousand miles alone, managed to cross the Canyon del Pato, desert of Uyuni, Siloli desert path and death (the Yungas) proposed among other challenges. Gignone Gabriel is a writer, photographer, adventurer and explorer. How he see the world is reflected in his most famous phrase, "My house is the world, my ceiling is the sky and my wall the horizon." His voyages were echoed in forums, newspapers, radio, tv, blogs and websites in different countries. His next trip will be to India, Bhutanese and Nepal in one trip, waiting to photograph the diversity and exotic lands. He currently resides in the city of Quito, Ecuador, and is in the process of editing two books of his own, "Insights," a collection of maxims and aphorisms, for which he was offered the prestigious Teatro Bolivar in Quito for presentation and "South America on a motorcycle, half the world at the end of the world" a log of your last trip.
