George Papapostolou was born in Trikala, Thessaly, but he lives and works on the island of Kos. In 2009 he attended photography courses at NELE Dodecanese (courses organised by Prefecture). It deals mainly with photographing landscapes and natural areas, looking mainly at Dodecanese islands all the year and the rest of Greece. Ηe made three solo exhibitions, the first on the island of Kos in Mylos beach bar entitled "Despite 'Gly alos, Aegean Dodecanese" and the second on the island of Leros at Hotel Eleftheria entitled "Contrasts" It has participated in a group exhibition with three other photographers in Athens entitled "Passengers" in December 2013,and the third in Kos island again with Black & white long exposure photos with title "Traveling with the time" Also in the National Photo Contest Dodekanisos seaways has won the third and the second prize.Greek National winner 2015 in Sony World Photography Awards!" Meteora holy Land

.....Those who fell in love with Santorini, did so forever. The locals say it has a heart that beats loudly, sending out vibrations to the mountains, the ground and the sea. The people’s heart either synchronizes with the island’s one – and they end up staying there, or they never couple with each other and leave the island as fast as they can.I gaze at the silver greatness that is Santorini and wonder to my self what is it that always brings me back here…Time goes by softly and the island has enough room to reveal its other side, possibly the real one, during Spring time…it fills with distinct colours and energy.
