Tanya has enjoyed snappin’ pictures since she received her first camera at age twelve - - - a big, bulky (but impressive-looking!) Kodak instant camera. An awkward recall resulted in that camera being replaced by a puny and disappointing disc camera. However, at age 17, redemption was hers with a Minolta X700, which faithfully stood by her side for 14 years, in travels to seven countries, documenting many milestones and precious memories. Tanya entered the digital world in 2003 with a simple point-and-shoot that conveniently recorded candid moments with her three young children. Missing her old SLR though, she purchased a digital SLR in 2009. Many of her shots record the trials and rewards of her other love: gardening. Tanya is currently challenging herself to branch out and try new things with photography. She enthusiastically thanks you for viewing her photos and whole-heartedly welcomes your comments and advice as she continues to learn and grow.
