Hans Ter Horst

After having worked mostly in Digital for the past few years, Hans finds himself going back to his roots and shooting on black and white film almost exclusively.

At the moment his Pentax 67II and Pentax 645NII cameras are his favourites. So why does he prefer film above digital photography? The simple answer is that he thinks that he takes more care composing and spends more time on choosing the aperture and exposure when shooting film; whereas shooting in Digital, he would just take several shots with different exposures and intended to junk the ones he didn't like at home. But with all those shots, he somehow never ended up with that one shot that was special. Made him lazy he insists and certainly not a better photographer.
