For as long as I can remember, design and the arts have always been an especially rich source of inspiration in my life. Naturally, photography has become imbued within my artistic creations to become an additional pillar of my art.
I began my professional journey during the 80’s at the Faculty of Architecture in the Technion, Israel , where I completed my degree in Landscape Architecture.
As soon as I completed my studies, I worked at one of the larger firms in the field in Israel for two years. Then, when my oldest son Jonathan was born, I decided to devote my main efforts towards the learning of another profession, one I had always wanted to study: Graphic design.
I studied graphic design independently, through self-teaching, and then opened my own studio for graphic design for 25 years. During this period I opened an Art Gallery for framework art and paintings (including my own paintings).
A few years ago, I added another facet to my artistic world and learned photography. Today, thanks to the wealth of experience that I’ve gained through graphic design over the years, the broad perspective that I developed through my studies of architecture, and through the practice of painting and creating art from an early age, the photographs I take possess their own artistic elements in every respect. In all areas of photography – freestyle, documentary, event, commercial and fashion photography – the artistic aspect, graphic considerations and unique perspective are reflected in more fascinating and exciting ways.
