Moving to the Highlands of Scotland in 1980 Heather settled In Evanton, Ross-shire where she lives with her husband Jimmy.
Working in Fashion Retail for many years she had the opportunity to end her career in 2002 and pursue her interest in photography.
Heather attended North Highland College in Alness where she furthered her knowledge in Digital Photography completing 2 night class courses in 2004 & 2005.
Using professional quality equipment and specializing mainly in landscapes, Heather photographs her images in colour and black & white.
Heather's photographs have been published in several world selling photography magazines as well as having her "Glenfinnan Viaduct" image, amongst others, used on the Highlands & Islands Monopoly board game in 2010.
"I never tire of the Scottish Highlands and its largely unspoiled natural beauty The seasons in which we are blessed, sunny or stormy, cold or wet all hold a special magical moment on our glorious Highland landscapes which are both challenging and inspirational to me. My great love of the outdoors combined with my passion for photography gives me the opportunity to capture some of these moments which can be lost in a whisper".
