Hugo Wong is a photographer and journalist from Victoria, B.C. He has documented protests, dusty light bulbs, sporting events, weddings and more. He is now the Editor-in-Chief at the Martlet, the University of Victoria's independent student newspaper.
He works in his spare time as a advocate for a more imaginative approach to public secondary education. His book, Cree Star Blanket, is a collaboration with an award-winning history teacher that examines a project-based, multidisciplinary approach to history classes and it is now being used in the Greater Victoria School District as a model for other educators.
