Today was a good day. A gang of about 30 of Toronto's finest 500pxonians hit the downtown streets to meet fellow photographers, take a few snaps, and cash in on free stuff!
I personally got to meet and re-meet a handful of talented folks including Frank Lemire (thanks for lending me your IR-modified camera for a few flicks) and Peter Crock, two 500pxonians on the Toronto scene who I follow closely. I also got to meet Andray from 500px, who I've only previously "Google hung out" with.
All in all, you know it's a good day when you get free 500px swag, a Henry's umbrella, three packs of Tangy Zangy's and a Fuze beverage. Oh yes, today was a glorious day.
About the images -- I just quickly went through my shots (I deem them average), picked out 10 and played with 4x5 cropping (which I never ever do). I generally like to keep the aspect ratio the same 3:2 to post things as I see them exactly.
