Ian Brown

My first attempts with a camera were as a young lad using Mums Olympus half frame. I shudder to think how much money she wasted developing my somewhat 'questionable' shots but she never once complained (thanks Mum x).

Fishing (for Carp) easily became my number one interest and took up nearly all my free time (and money). As my catches grew bigger I invested in several different cameras to record my 'monsters'. It was now I realised that my interest in Photography had been rekindled - I found myself spending more time snapping the scenery and wildlife than actually fishing. I progressed to a basic DSLR and haven't looked back. I now own a Canon 7D along with several different lenses to cover most situations plus an array of filters/cables/flashes/supports etc. Landscape and Nature I my favourite subjects but I do 'expand' to others from time to time.
