Abhijit Biswas

Being an inhabitant of rural Bangladesh, unlike others, I tried to see my
surroundings through different but critical eyes. As a school goer, back
in 1990s, I wanted to freeze my time through visuals beside pen and
paper. My realization of capturing the moments became a reality when
I was provided with a film camera by my parents as a recognition of my
academic feat. From secondary to tertiary education, things changed a lot,
so was my camera; mobile camera took place of film camera. Pleasure
of passing time with camera came into fruition while I own a DSLR back
in 2008. Now that I am in private service, I have taken photography as a
hobby to pass leisure time. Capturing portrait, people, lifestyle, countryside,
fashion, wedding, and modeling photography have been my forte. As a
Bangladeshi, my future plan is to make my country familiar to the world
through photography. United we stand, considering this saying as my
motto, I would like to familiar my country through visual representation in
the age of new media and communication. My current realization is to keep
abreast with the current trend of photography through which, I would be
able to share my ideas beyond border and provide a new visibility to the
people, society, and culture.
