Wollaton park shoot

Published January 5th, 2012

Went to Wollaton park to try and capture a environmental shot of a deer, the deer Red and Fallow are semi wild having full run of the park but enclosed with walls and hedges.

it was a nice change as i havent really targeted mammals much in my work and donning the camo gear i was able to geta few nice shots though not close enough to get a fisheye shot but with the 70 - 300mm.

i then walked down to the lake to get shots of some of the waterfowl and was surprised to find a few migratory ducks like red crested pochard, gadwell and shovler. Around the other side of the lake was alot clearer and i sort to use my improvised pole cam and get video footage of pike sun bathing i did find one but couldnt quite get close enough .

over all a brilliant shoot
