To Catch a Fire

Published February 26th, 2012

On this certain shoot I wanted to have the model in Bikini in surrounding bush land after a bush fire which you can only do at certain times of the year and at times certain locations...

We drove for an hour trying to locate a strip of bush land along a highway that was burnt the week before, news reports in the paper didnt locate the spot very well so we had to drive and then find the right spot to perk etc....

We finally found the strip of bush land and was perfect, the clouds rolled in and gave a soft light to the location which worked out well and the colours and texture of the spot was great to work with but it was very hot and humid by then...

We quickly got the change in to teh bikini and then worked on spots to shoot and found a nice bit of bush track...

All up I was happy with this section of Hara's shoot although it took along time to find the location the shots worked out great...

At the end of the shoot I had some body paint and wanted to try some added colour so I painted a strip of yellow across her eyes which worked out well
