Crook County Court House

Built in 1906, the Crook County courthouse is a beautiful structure built of native stone from a quarry in this area. It is still in use to this day, but is not the oldest courthouse in use in this state. Some time back, some maintenance was required and accomplished in this classic building. Each year it is decorated for different occasions throughout the year and is especially nice during the Christmas season. Hope you enjoy!

Mystical Places

My friend Judy Neill and I went on an adventure the other day looking for some color. We stopped along the way at Sahalie Falls on the McKenzie River and we discovered a magical, mystical place, with a serene beauty that only nature can provide. Below Sahalie Falls is a portal of sorts and one must wonder if that is where the mystical "Pot of Gold" is and then do you suppose it will be guarded by the Leprechaun's? The beauty here is only surpassed by one's imagination!
