I'm an advertising graduate and currently studying business, only had 2 college photography classes (that's what got me into this) and then learned by my own reading books, experimenting and uploading photos to sites like deviantart and flickr were I got great feedback from the community. Also I asked a LOT of questions to friends and people that are into the business (they know who they are and i am really thankful for their help). I believe that photography is one of those things you don't need to study to learn and develop skills, it's more about practice and dedication.
I have a great passion for cars and motorsports, my dad used to race speedboats and for 6 years my week nights and weekends were all about it until the championship was canceled . So as soon as I got my hands on a camera my only thoughts were on shooting at the race track. The owner of mundomotorizado.com saw my photos and asked me if I could assist him on race days, this was the beginning of my photography story. Been collaborating for mundomotorizado for 6 years now and with its help I got to work for an important local karting team: Valerio Racing, and the "Escudería Toyota". Also had the opportunity to do 9 international coverages including the Mexico WRC and the Rotax Max Challenge World Finals in Italy working for the local Rotax dealer, Piloto Karts.
Some time ago I got really interested in other kind of photography beyond motorsports so decided to learn and work more on portraits, landscapes and commercial. There's so much to do and not enough time so I hope my portfolio will grow on these categories soon.
