Hello. In the Fall of 2010, I took my first trip to Tibet. I had figured if I were to go to such a place, I would need a much better camera than my mediocre point-and-shoot. It didn't take me long to justify buying my first DSLR. What I didn't know would happen on that trip was that I would fall in love with photography. I've always been interested in people and their stories, in the subtle movements that are caught in the blink of a moment. You could say that the camera became an excuse for me to explore these things further. For me, using a camera instantly became natural. Once I learned how to operate the machine, all I had to do is do what I already have been doing my whole life: noticing the unnoticed. I quickly realized all that must be done was to put the lens between my eye and what was already in front of me. I use photography as a simple excuse to engage with others in meaningful ways.

I've seen some neat stuff here the last few months and decided to try it out. I'm going to use this space to only upload some of my better stuff. I'll use Flickr for my catch all. Let me know if there are some amazing pictures I should check out!
