John Brunjes

I began my fascination with birds and other wild things as a small child. I began a passion for wildlife photography while working on seabirds in college in the late 1980's. I am a Wildlife Biologist by profession and work in the Migratory Bird Program of Kentucky's Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. I work with game and non-game wetland birds in a research and management position. I have projects on a variety of species from shorebirds to least terns to American woodcock. My job affords me the opportunity to photograph Kentucky's fauna. Beyond nature photography, I'm trying to "diversify" a little and shoot some other stuff. I hope you enjoy my images.
