John Dickens

At this moment in life I find myself spending extended periods of time in the colder regions at the bottom of the world.
After studying conservation biology I started work as a zoological field assistant. I've been fortunate enough to carry out research on elephant seals, leopard seals, fur seals, killer whales, penguins, albatross and a variety of other sub-antarctic birds on Marion Island and now on Bird Island, South Georgia.
Hopefully my photos shed a bit of light on the lives of the incredible creatures that very few people have the opportunity to see.
