Too Much Good Art

Is there too much good photography?

Everyday I see thousands of high quality photos pass by. Most filter through the "Fresh" category and never receive any attention or critique... these photos can be very emotive, and I feel they deserve more attention than they get. They are simply drowned out by all the other submissions.

I feel like there are several causes...

1. There are too many artists, and not enough admirers. Face it, photographers like to be out in the field taking photos. The last thing they want to do is sit in front of a computer feeling stagnant, feeling jealous of peoples endeavors... especially after a long day of staring at the screen editing. I find I am usually on photo sharing sites when the weather is bad or health prevents me from shooting. There has to be some way to quickly connect artists with new photos.
