I am not a "Professional" Photographer. I have my legal job. I like Music, Movies, Books, Guitars, and Photos. In these days I am really into street shooting. That makes me a 'wanna-be' amateur street photographer. BUT I did not say that I want to be a SERIOUS street photographer. I am a kind of lomography style Street Photographer. I did not formally learn photography (I had, maybe, one or two photography sessions offered by local professional photographer) But I am good at Painting :D I know lights and shadows. Street Photography to me is capturing pictures that ordinary people draw during their ordinary lives. Nobody remembers for them what they were doing on the street. They don't even recognize how beautiful they were. That is why like street shooting.
In these days, most of my pictures have taken with my Panasonic LX-5. Easy to carry, small, but efficient camera. But I also use old cameras and toy cameras. I decided to stop collecting cameras. Too many cameras drive me crazy when I think about what Kind of pictures I want to have. I think LX-5, LC-A+, Ricoh R-1 are enough. Taking photos with Android phone is also the one I like. I like Little Photo App.
I am a kind of lomostyle street Photographer, meaning, no rule based shooting. But it doesn't mean that I have no rule for myself. I follow moral and reasonableness. I NEVER take poor people or homeless people! That's exploitating!
Please don't be so serious about my photos. Just enjoy and have fun with my not-so-serious lomostyle street pictures :D
