American Journey

Published March 12th, 2012

In December 2011 & January 2012 I took a break from work to travel a bit around the US, staying in Boston MA, Washington DC, New York City and Chicago before travelling for 2 days overland by Amtrak to San Francisco. Here's a small selection of images from the journey. All travel within the US was by train, a wonderful way to travel! I only flew into Boston and out of California.

Currently trying out Nik Software's Silver Efex Pro B&W software and it's absolutely wonderful, I think getting the exact, controlled black and white look I wanted in these images would have taken far longer without it.
