I've always had a fondness for shooting at night, especially around London's inner city areas like the Square Mile, St Pauls, Westminster and along the Thames. During yesterday's rainstorm I couldn't resist dragging the tripod out of hiding and exploring through the sheets of rain around the financial district of the City of London.
Despite forgetting to pack an umbrella and getting odd looks from security guards and police officers on patrol in the area, the camera and I managed to withstand the rain for a few hours and produce some good pictures.
Currently trying out Nik Software's Silver Efex Pro B&W software and it's absolutely wonderful, I think getting the exact, controlled black and white look I wanted in these images would have taken far longer without it.

A multimedia piece is also floating around my hard drive, with location sound and music, and shall probably make it's way onto the web in due course.
