Julian Bunker

As a photographer, I believe it is my job to flatter the world around me in hopes of spreading a deeper appreciation for the natural world. I want to heighten people’s awareness of the beauty in the world and the consequences of living a selfish life. I photograph out of respect and love. My goal is to preserve land and to interpret strong positive emotion.
By using an equal combination of technical implementation, conceptual thought, and artistic intention, I wish to tell a story of the world that motivates all. Motivate people to enjoy the wonders of the world more often and to respect the world by reducing their footprint.
I grew up in Northern Michigan with the constant reminder that this world is fleeting. I was taught to appreciate every moment and to revel in the concept that everything we see is one of a kind and will never happen again the exact same way. The world becomes a lot more beautiful with this idea in mind. I bring this practice into my photography. Please view my works with an open mind and feel free to become immersed into the fleeting moments in time depicted in each photograph.
