Kam Khan

Kam's love of photography traverses time and the elements. He is as adept at shooting fire, water and air as he is at shooting commercial products, beauty, food and head shots. His recent travels to Hawaii and Asia have taken his photography to a new level.

Kam was recently selected as one of 91 winners in Ron Howard's and Canon's 2013 Project Imaginat10n contest for his photo of "Tony," the horse. He also was a semifinalist in the prestigious Hasselblad 2010 Masters competition and a finalist in PDN Magazine's PIX Digital Imaging Contest in the "New Talent of 2010" category for his self portrait series, "Life Begins at 2AM". The 2AM series was born from one sleepless night when Kam combined his skills as an actor, photographer, martial artist, and writer to tell a visual story with one single image. Like a major motion picture production, the audience could peel back the layers of his artistically complex photographs to see how the story would unfold.

In the rare moments when Kam puts down the camera, he is hard at work on several original screenplays, including "Ground Zed", a quarter finalist (out of 2,400+ entries) in Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope Screenplay Contest, quarter finalist in Scriptapalooza, and a Bronze REMI Award winner (out of 4,100+ entries) from WorldFest Houston. Kam's short film "Two Pieces" was also a Top Ten Finalist in the Asian American Film Lab's 72 Hour Shootout Film Festival. He was also nominated for an Audelco Award for his performance in "The Domestic Crusaders". Kam lives in New York City with his wife.
