Karen Jones

Karen Jones is an experienced amateur photographer living in beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside not far from Milton Keynes. Karen took up photography seriously in 2008. Her love and knowledge of horses was a natural way for her to focus her early work. This was soon followed by model photography using the natural environment in and around her home, with both amateur and professional models. She has attended several workshops and group shoots, which Karen feels have helped her develop her passion and talent. It has also brought her into contact with first class photographers, some of whom have become good friends and mentors. In 2011 Karen showed some of her work for the first time. Although a low key exhibition she described the event as “nerve racking yet rewarding”. She looks forward to repeating the experience. She is also quite pleased to have 3 images on 1X.com, an on-line gallery of hand picked photos. Her style is best described by Karen as appropriate and graceful, although says she does not specialise in any particular genre of photography, just “enjoys taking photos of anything and everything". She is currently working on a series of images and feels she is producing her best ever photography. Karen is always open to new ideas and challenges especially with her close affiliation to horses.
