These are complete immersive panoramic images (A complete spherical field of view... It's like a 0mm lens...You can use software like Hugin to stitch them, and Flexify to manipulate them. By taking 360x180 panoramas and stitching them in certain ways, the environments will look like little planets, inverted planets, or a number of other crazy things.
