Specialists in “Nature’s affairs”

Published October 22nd, 2012

Bedouins are best at grape harvesting, this is the reason why they dwell the western side of the Bekaa valley where the soil is suitable for grape's prosperity.

They inhabit in a rural kind of “slum” since they live the nomadic way… It’s a totally different primitive type of life! I call it “The slowest adventure on earth”.

Women were aggressive*, children were following me wherever I go and men (only 2 of them) were careless…

Women and children were interesting to shoot since they act unintentionally. This is the reason why I focused on these two types of subjects. My photography relies on unintentional behaviors…

* But why were women aggressive?

I understand their discomfort when seeing a professional camera since they consider that I might be a “Pro-Syrian” spy that would send their names and photos to the “bloody” Syrian regime.
