Primarily specializing in adventure tourism, I have worked with dozens of brands within the tourist and publishing industry as a writer and photographer. My photography has been used by outfitters, airlines, travel agencies, travel magazines and communication agencies. My art prints have been printed in 5 continents from hundreds of small postcards to 8 foot murals which adorn the hallways of a college, hospitals, condos, politician's offices and sides of buildings, billboards and countless e-marketing collateral. During 2009 I became internationally known as the first Canadian to be exhibited at the Astronomy Photographer of the year competition in London, United Kingdom, at the Royal Observatory of Greenwich. From that I was published in a book put out by Harper & Collins UK. During the same year I interviewed with Photoworld Magazine where they named me "King of the Aurora," in Beijing, China. During 2011, I was exhibited in Sydney, Australia, as one of the finalists of the Epson Pano Awards. My work from that was printed in an 16x4' mural adorning the, then, premier of the territory's office building and showed in Sydney, Aus, alongside one of the top selling panorama photographers of all time. The image was later featured by Australian Geographic. From 2011 - 2014 I wrote for Let's Be Wild Magazine and It's Just Light Magazine, publishing a couple of articles on North America's largest National Park..Wood Buffalo National Park. Feel free to read my articles about encounters flying in formation, in a helicopter, with a flock of Canadian Geese and shooting models under the Aurora Borealis: After receiving a crippling back injury in 2015, I shelved photography to recover and work on my writing. During this time, I was published in magazines, brochures and online in post-secondary, healthcare and tourism niches. In 2017, I began to slowly push back into photography, working with a local model/make up artist to receive a small shoutout on London Drugs' blog. Later on in the year, I gave permission for several of my images to be printed on a fleet of Northwestern Air's jet planes. Now in 2018, while basing out of the Arctic and working on a book with Thomas Koidhis, I invite you to join us on the journey of our expanding story.
