Nick Jeffers

I have photographed some of the most attractive men in California and from around the US. Nick is by far one of the most attractive guys I have ever photographed. I mean, let's be honest! It's not even the tattoos that make him extremely attractive; it's the fact that he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Let me remind you of Ryan for a second, really freakin' hot guy, but was too stuck up and well, for a lack of a better word, too "Orange County" for me. His rudeness made him so unattractive. Hotness gets old. Nick's kindness and caring acts made him ten times more attractive. My friend Robin Osgood just posted a photo that said "ladies, guys are sick of hearing you ask where the 'nice guys' are. they're in the friend's zone, where you left them." Ladies, THEY'RE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE. I know more than half of the time we go for the douchebags because let's be honest, they're hot. But are we not looking at the same guy here?! One of the handsomest men I have ever met a ...

"Yes, it is the greatest thing in life -- to know. It is really to be happy, to be free" (D.H. Lawrence)

Day ten. I have made it! This has to be one of my favorite photographs I have taken of myself. Most of my photos deal with school because that's mainly what I do when I'm not at work or taking pictures. This was not too long after Humanities class. We are currently reading Women in Love by D.H. Lawrence, where the above quote is from. I honestly love to learn. I prefer to be in school. I mean sure, summer is great and it's always nice to have a break, but I love school and learning so much. I know, I know, so weird, but I can't help it.

Day two. Still going strong. I made plenty of time for this after going to Bagels and to see One Day with the family and doing homework. I was cleaning up my school area a bit when I realized I still hadn't opened my package from Borders. Instantly I knew that's what today would be about. I had originally been trying to come up with an idea based around The Bacchae, the play I am reading in Humanities, but I guess that will come later.

My brother helped me out by being my focal point and he also came up with the idea to jump.

I am currently taking Italian with plans to study abroad in Italy. Most people know I want to travel more and love to travel, but very few know that I have always wanted to learn Italian and study there. So there's a random fact for ya! I'll keep introducing little facts about me and things that I love.

365: The Beginning

Published September 5th, 2011

Well it has finally arrived. Today is my birthday and also the day I start my 365 day project. I am officially 20 years young, the year that everyone says is not that special, and it is my last year before I transfer to APU. I cannot wait to see what this year has in store for me.

So here goes nothing. It is the beginning to one of the many adventures I look forward to.

Today is completely based around Acts 2:42 - And they devoted themselves to the apostle' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and the prayers.

This year is going to be completely devoted to being an act of worship. My favorite Bible verse is 1 Peter 4:10 and I really want to live that out. I want people to see God's grace and love in my photography.

These aren't anything special, but that's another key factor to this year: growing as a photographer.
