Wendy's twin passions for outdoor activity and the visual has led naturally to an interest in photography. Although she dabbled in slide photography briefly in the 80s, she borrowed her first digital DSLR in 2009. Seven years later she is pursuing birds in Quebec and Northeast Florida, landscapes locally and in Europe, and very active with her local camera club. She finds the photographic community to be wonderfully generous and the time she devotes to the activity immensely rewarding. She has participated in several exhibitions in Montreal and one in Quebec's beautiful Eastern Townships, and her images have done well in provincial and local competitions. In the April 2014 SPPQ provincial competition, her image 'Puissance' won first place for black and white print, and 'La Vie en Rose' won second place in the competition for slideshow.
