My name is Sebastian Kraus; I was born in 1981 in Nowa Ruda, Poland where I grew up with my family and studied. Eventually I left Poland and now live in Scotland. I am a landscape photographer and I am based in the beautiful historic city Edinburgh. Once I started learning more about photography my interest in it grew so rapidly that I began reading everything that I could get my hands on. I quickly realized that this was an art form that would enable me to express my innermost feelings about the world that I am merely just a part of. I started with really no experience at all in 2006 with a Fuji Fine Pix S9500 and since then I have been hooked. So much so that I believe my passion is evident in my photographs which have more recently been published in magazines and even exhibited around the world. I capture images that are literally just moments passing in time and I truly love the subjects that I photograph. If the camera has taught me only one thing about nature, it is that it holds so very much more than is first apparent to the naked eye.

I soon realised that this was an art form that would enable me to express my feelings about the natural world we live in. I’m drawn to the coast and the ever changing nature of the sea that surrounds it. My images capture moments in time and if my camera has taught me one thing about nature, it’s that it holds so very much more than is first apparent to the naked eye. Landscape photographers should be in ...
