Kris Wood is a London based Photographer, Retoucher and Digital Imaging Specialist.
Currently working for Hungry Tiger London Ltd as a Studio Photographer, Kris styles, shoots and edits product and still life shots for a range of well known fashion brands such as Marks and Spencer, John Lewis and Monsoon.
Before joining Hungry Tiger, Kris worked for Trinity Mirror, Channel 4 and then Channel 5, either creating bespoke Picture and Video content for a multitude of different media platforms, or managing picture desks, teams of photographers and creating archiving processes.
In his spare time Kris works as a freelance (NUJ accredited) Photojournalist, Travel, Street and Urban Exploration photographer, as well as a retoucher for a number of corporate clients.
Kris' work has been featured on BBC News, in The Daily Mail, The Sun, The Telegraph & a number of regional Trinity Mirror Titles as well as on Londonist.com
To date Kris has 1 D&AD New Blood Award (as part of the University of Gloucestershire), 1 Cosmopolitan Blog Award (As part of Hecklerspray.com) and was selected as a judge for the 2012 UK Picture Editors' Guild Awards, having been the first Television Picture Editor to be accepted as a member of the Guild.
Kris' work can currently be seen in 3 exhibitions touring the UK: 200 Faces, Performance and A Splash of Colour, all of which have been organised and curated by The Photographic Angle.
