Published September 18th, 2012

The Vihren refuge (Bulgarian: Хижа Вихрен) is situated in the Pirin mountain, southwestern Bulgaria at an altitude of 1,915 m. It is composed of two massive buildings and bungalows. There is a road from Bansko, which makes the refuge one of the most visited parts in the mountain as well as one of the most polluted.
