I am a self-taught photographer and Photoshop enthusiast residing in the Chicago suburb of Lisle, Illinois. My professional background is Project Management focused on IT and business process, clearly a left brain emphasis. Over the past five years I’ve been exercising the right side of my brain diving all in to photography and image enhancement through Photoshop. My other interests include astronomy, skiing (water/snow), and gourmet cooking.
Photography subjects include a mixture of landscape, aircraft, and local scenes. HDR has influenced my style and that continues to evolve. I find it rewarding to be able to work with color, tone, detail and texture to create a rich representation of an already interesting scene.
I am a member of NAPP, National Association of Photoshop Professionals. Through training provided by NAPP and KelbyOne Training, I continue to advance my skills and I found terrific teaching and inspiration from “The Photoshop Guys” RC Concepcion, Scott Kelby, Corey Barker, Pete Collins, and Matt Kloskowski. I also follow and/or study the work of Trey Ratcliff, Brian Matiash, Ben Willmore, Bill Fortney, Vincent Versace, Moose Peterson, Jay Patel, Colby Brown, and Joel Grimes.
