My son was selected to represent Oregon at the opening of the U.S. Freedom Pavilion in New Orleans. He, with 50 other young adults, took part in the ceremonies and created displays for the museum. It was a great experience and a wonderful museum.

The restored B-17 bomber hanging three stories over the main hall. I was able to speak to one of the restorers and he described how this plane was rescued from where it crashed in Greenland in the mid-nineties. The mannequin's faces were sculpted to look like the original pilots.
