I was introduced to photography by my grandfather in the fifties when he gave me his old "brownie" box camera. I have been clicking away, in one form or another, ever since. I took time off for awhile, but now in retirement I am rediscovering my passion for this artform.

Sometimes I like to pretend to be a photo journalist and record the news as it happens around me. Other times I like to put on my artist's cap. At one time I played in the darkroom, with chemicals and mysterious lights and timers. Now I tinker on my computer trying to make that image "just so". I have uploaded a ten minute retrospective video of photos I have taken over the past almost fifty years here:

I guess I consider myself a serious amateur, who doesn't (hopefully) take himself too seriously;)
