Years ago ( about 20...) I bought an Epson scanner 12000BT A3 size.
It was at that moment one of the best and easy in use on the market, and I must admit it still is although it's still with SCSI connection and the use of old Mac OS computer and software.
And as long as it works I'm not going to dispose it. No way. Costed to much money ( 3000€ )
So back in the the now, one day I desided to try to use it as a real camera. You know, a real set up...;-)
So I dragged everything into the garden and started experimenting with it.
Soon I found out that the interplay with fore and background was really nice. Blurry effects created by the moving of the scanner itself and the interpay withe the wind made adorable combinations.
On a sunny day you can work with a background that is sunny lit, and combine it with the light the scanner emits when scanning.
But the backgroung for sure is lit and doesn't produce dark ones like a normal scanography.
It's just FUN to experiment with this matter.
I'm planning to make a tutorial video on how I work around this. ( wait untill spring at least ! )
So if your interested, keep visiting my site ( http://www.lucthibau.com ) from time to time to see if it's on there already.
Please feel free to comment and or ask questions about the scanscapes technology.
But for most Enjoy !
