Malc Lawes

I am Malc Lawes and I enjoy photography, I have no preference to what kind of pictures I take, I just enjoy taking photographs. In september 6th 2013 I was diagnosed with iritis and I was hours away from going blind apparently so I've had to have laser surgery on both eyes so this makes photography a lot harder for me but I'm doing my best. I was asked to do a photo shoot on the 14th of June, 2014, for the British charity group Help for Heroes. This is a large group of people in 4x4 vehicles who travel 3000 miles across Europe to show their support for the armed forces. They were very happy with the photos I took of them leaving the start line, staged chinook shots, lots of vehicles, and a few other various shots. A few shots might even appear in magazines. April 20th 2015...done a shoot for frimley park hospital for there new maternity wing, all the shots where put to PowerPoint,so they can use them in lectures, and in brochures for the new mum's to be. 2016 was an amazing year for me i received three editors choices, I've been published in photography masterclass magazine. I received a behind the lens award on ViewBug. I won a Calendar competition for 2017 with 20,000 Calendar's printed. I had two images in the nikon film which was published in December 2016. I've just been notified by Nikon that two of my images are going to be displayed at the NEC Birmingham photography show in march 2017.
