I decided to try something new...

Published January 22nd, 2013

A few days ago I've received all the new gears I've ordered for my camera. So today I decided to put everything together and try something new.

The subject is quite boring I know (it's my external microphone!), but the setup seemed to me rather interesting.

The main experiment consisted in moving the led light behind the microphone in each shoot to later compose the different pictures in one single line of light.

You will see the Photoshop screen and then the final result, obtained with Lightroom 2.

There is a lot to improve I know, but I'm quite happy with this first result!

Backstage #1

Sorry for the quality of the "backstage". I had to use my iPhone...

Backstage #2

I ended up not using the colored filters, but they were there, so I decided to mention them anyway!

A voice in the dark

This is the final result after the Lightroom editing where I've balanced the colors, straightened the picture and better merged all the lights!
