Dedicated to supporting the farmers and their production, the co-founder of Grand Parade, Michael Bailey, uses his expertise in Computer Science to propagate the message of the silent Kenyan agricultural majority while offering their quality coffee for the worlds enjoyment. Spearheading the companies public relations and digital marketing strategy, he focuses on spreading the stories of Kenyan farmers and the barriers they must overcome to bring their coffee to market. This dedication is the foundation of Grand Parade and the reason why it is so important in the global coffee imports conversation. Grand Parade does more then sell coffee, we help build the infrastructure that will allow the producers of this globally important commodity to retain a fair portion of the proceeds garnered by their sale and the social mobility that wealth can afford them.
Graduating from Berkeley in Political Science, Michael uses a combination of technology, philosophy and political discourse to further the rights of Farmers and their right to benefit from their own production. This in conjunction with his wife Kavi, allows the company to find the difficult equilibrium between profitability and integrity that is missing in many corporations.
