Mountaineering..........

Published May 6th, 2012

the last in the mountaineering ladybird series !!!

you will be pleased to know '6 dot' the ladybird managed to ascend and descend the allium flower head in reacord time just over 1 hour, please note this was a complete free climb with no assistance from ropes, ice picks or oxygen, a real acheivement in the ladybird world !! his altitude record will probably be beaten in the next day or two as the allium is still growing about 10mm a day.

On returning to the base of the allium '6 dot' celebrated his amazing achievemenyt with old 10 dot and his son 4 dot, the three of them were last seen leaving the jasmine area heading home after a wonderful day, i am sure 6 dot will sleep well tonight......

I have been asked by a follower if 6 dot or his friends/family will be entering the olympics ?

"Mo, thanks for taking the time to read about ' 6 dots' amazing day in my back garden, unfortunatly The allium will be in full bloom during the olympic month and will be far to dangerous to climb, generally in these months the favoured climbing is in the front garden up the cannas or even the tricky agapanthus, however last year there was a tragic fatal accident on a very tall white agapanthus and the talk is there wont be any climbing this year, will be a shame because some of the best climbing has been witnessed on agapanthus over the last decade. we'll just have to wait and see...."

......ascent

Here you see '6 dot' ascending the allium, this picture was prabably taken at the toughest part of the climb, as you will see he has no climbing equipment at all, all takes is one foot hold to slip and he would fall to his certain death, luckily for '6 dot' he has 8 feet so he can gain an excellent grip to the slippery surface of the stem.

@ the Summit !!!!

Here you see '6 dot' at the summit. he didnt have much time to take in the lovely view of the adjacent lawn as the light was fading and the wind picking up.

descent ..........

the descent......

well what can i say this is by sure the trickiest part of the climb, full concerntration is required, as the wind picked up halfway down '6 dot' decided to traverse to the protectect west side of the stem, a wise choice as it has been known for a climber to be blown clean off.

as you will read from the main story above '6 dot' made it to base camp safely and enjoyed long celebrations with freinds & family.

What made this story really cool is your patience, The patient to wait for the tiny beautiful ladybug to move.

about the link thing you asked me, you look like a fun guy so I will tell you my little secret to do that.
I don't know if you are an IT kind of guy but this is what you have to type in order to get a link like that:

TEXT

LINK: replace this with whatever website or picture link you want to have the text linked to
TEXT: replace this with the text you wan't to have 'click-able'

hope this helps! ;) If not, let me know, i'll help out :)
