Morten Hedemann

My name is Morten Hedemann.
My interest in photography started when I discovered the macro function on our digital camera. I spent a long time taking close-ups of all sorts of things and was fascinated that I could see many more and greater detail in the pictures than with the naked eye. I showed some of the pictures to my cousin, who photographed a part, he was impressed and wanted to try with his DSLR camera if he could take some similar pictures. It quickly became apparent that he could not focus as close as I could with the digital camera, but in return he could then zoom in and crop the image, with a great sharp result.
At that moment I decided that I should have DSLR.

The choice fell on a Canon EOS 1000D, since it was what I could afford. I would not invistere too much on something I did not know if I would get to use. However, I found out quickly that shooting with DSLR, would become my new hobby. It was not long before I went on the hunt for new and exciting lenses than the one that came with your camera. Since it has been for many lenses. The two I use the most is a Canon 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, and a Sigma 18-200 mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS.
It is therefore an objective to Macro-/close-up and an all-around lens that can deal with most situations

As my interest in photography has grown, it also poses new requirements for the equipment. I realized that I could no longer make do with a Canon eos 1000D, so it was replaced with a Canon EOS 7D, which is in Semi-professional class. Next project is the acquisition of a Canon 70-200 mm f/2.8 L IS USM II
