Photography has always been a passion of mine, from the very first time I looked through a viewfinder of a Minolta SRT102, 35mm. I always believe that photographs are a way to travel visually back in time. You are instantly transported to that moment in your life that made you smile, cry or laugh out loud. Photographs are cherished treasures that we sometimes take for granted... until that time when we glance back and remember.
I continue to learn and explore new ways of photographing people, places and anything in between. I recently got back to using film, an analog camera is an amazing tool, which continues to help me explore and understand the roots of photography, you shoot and there is no going back. It really teaches you to take your time and slow down, look at your composition, exposure, and lighting. And for that, I've come to appreciate and respect the art of photography and the amazing photographers that have paved the way in this industry. It's allowed me to expand my creativity onto the digital platform.
Throughout our lives, we encounter people, places and things that move us, inspire us and sometimes shape us to whom we are today.
This is a glimpse of My Visually Acoustic (MVA) Life.
